"Heart of the Knot" is about finding yourself through introspection. This EP was written in about 45 days leading up to my first out of state performance, and I wanted to show something authentic, unique, and cohesive. The time crunch ultimately lead to the best body of work I've been able to produce in such a short period. The title is representative of the journey I went through whilst writing the EP, the triumphs and challenges I faced, and ultimately, overcoming them. It's meant to be listened front to back, as all the tracks were written to mix together and written in order. This is a vulnerable work where I wanted to share some of my deepest feelings and hope to provide something different than what you might typically find in my genre. Ultimately, I hope this EP inspires other artists to take on a similar challenge and find their voice in order to push our space further.
